Nicole White is the CEO and Principal Designer of Nicole White Designs Interiors, a full service boutique interior design firm, based in South Florida.
Nicole, known for her magical transformation of kitchens and bathrooms, is a 2024 Regional Winner of the Sub Zero/Wolf/Cove Kitchen Design Awards. Nicole’s firm won for the full design/renovation of the kitchen inside a Miami Penthouse. Voted among the top 25 Interior Design Firms by the South Florida Luxury Guide, Nicole recently launched her first art collection with Leftbank Art, the go-to art trade source for designers. She was among six designers to launch the Voice Collection with TOV furniture in 2022 and was among the designers chosen for the 2021 Palm Beach Kips Bay Showhouse.
Nicole has served a mentor to countless designers in her 15 year career, and until recently, offered a formal two-hour business chat program where she did a deep-dive of designers business practices, and offered guidance to improve areas where they struggled.
Her work has been featured in various local, national and international publications including – the covers of Luxe Interiors + Design (July/August 2023) and House Beautiful (Fall 2021); Veranda, Florida Design, HGTV, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, Essence magazines and The Wall Street Journal to name a few. Before launching her successful design firm, Nicole was an award-winning journalist whose stories appeared in The Miami Herald, Village Voice, and Vibe magazine. Her love of design and writing, spawned the creation of her blog: www.livelaughdecorate.com nominated for Best Renovation Blog by Domino Magazine in 2018.
A Jamaican native, Nicole is deeply inspired by the colors and textures of the Caribbean and constantly fuses those elements throughout her designs. Her love of art led her to serve as an Ambassador for Black Art for the Perez Art Museum in Miami, a modern and contemporary art museum dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Nicole is an active member of the Jamaican diaspora and contributes to several charities that support local schools on the island. A mental health advocate, she supports the Healing Arts Institute Annual Gala - special event dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and celebrating those who champion mental well-being.
Nicole is an avid cook, foodie and wine lover who is always busy plotting a travel escape. Her greatest design however is her son, Xavier – artist, dinosaur aficionado and athlete. That love now extends to the newest member of the family, Kingston the Maltipoo.
